Types of Membership

01.Full Members

All members of the Alumni Association of the University of Georgetown according to its by-laws (including parents of students and former students) who are not in arrears of the payment of annual Club fees. They will have the right to vote in the General Assembly and are likely to be elected as members of the Executive Committee, receive discounts on activities with cost, make suggestions to the members of the Executive Committee in order to improve compliance with the Club’s objectives and represent the Club with the express approval of the Executive Committee.

 

02.Friends of the Club

All those who have a special connection with the University will be understood as such (students and alumni are excluded from this group). They must be recommended by an MPD and be up to date with the payment of annual fees.
They will not have the right to vote and representation.

03.Honorary Members

The title is automatically granted to:
  • Ex-presidents and founders of the Club.
  • Current President and current Executive Director of the Alumni Association of the University.
  • Individuals who show a special relationship with the Club and the University (Faculty and Employees of the University) on a proposal by the Executive Committee and approved by the General Assembly.

They will enjoy all the privileges established for the MPD with the exception of the right to vote and the right to representation.
